Mo

Mo has been our artistic director since 2009. We enjoy her blend of musical talent and training, engaging teaching approach, and spontaneous sense of humor.

She earned a BA in Music from San Diego State University and the University of West Florida.  Highlights of her career include performing with the Oregon Bach Festival Choir, and as a professional soloist with the Oregon Mozart Players, Eugene Concert Choir, Oregon Repertory Theatre, Eugene Festival of Musical Theater, Mainstage Productions, and the Honolulu Chorale and Symphony.

Mo has performed in a dozen musicals and operas with leading roles in Brigadoon, The Sound of Music, There’s a Lady Center Stage, The Leader of the Pack and Nunsense. She retired from the Motet Singers, a 10-voice, a cappella, women’s ensemble with two fine CDs, after 21 years.

While an employee at the City of Eugene, Mo initiated the City Singers, a choir of 25 to 50 city employees, and directed them for two decades.  Mo also currently directs the Unity of the Valley Choir.
