Becoming a member
- No audition is required but a potential member should be able to match pitches, match intervals and keep tempo.
Rehearsals
- Tuesdays from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
- September – June
- Location: Wellsprings Friends School, 3590 W. 18th Ave, Eugene, OR 97402
Repertoire and Song Selection
- We select songs democratically.
- We sing a variety of largely secular material.
- We emphasize a cappella works that promote peace, positive social change, community support and a healthy environment.
Membership Requirements
- Preparing for rehearsals and attending 75% of them.
- Memorizing music.
- Contribution of $25.00 per month, tax deductible. Partial scholarships available.
Guidelines for members
- Treat all persons with respect.
- Strive to achieve highest potential.
- Give only positive and constructive feedback.
- Contribute time to choir tasks or committees.
- Participate in most performances.
Musical Expectations
- Practice each week using website practice parts.
- Notify section leader and director if absent.
- Be prepared for performances, including memorization.
